The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uva Province (CCIUP) was incorporated in the year 1996 on 25th of September, under the Companies Act No. 17 of 1982. The Chamber Office is situated in the district of Badulla of Uva province. The services of the chamber are the Business Information, Market linkage services, Technology sourcing, Consultancy Services, Lobbying, Agency post office and communication centre ,Job opportunities and placements, and Welfare.

The chamber worked closely with the Dry Zone Livelihood Support and Partnership Programme (IFAD-DZLSPP) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Agrarian Services. The chamber also upholds close cooperation with the cooperating organizations such as WUSC, GTZ, EDB, and IDB. In past Chamber has involved projects such as Commercial Waste Disposal Project, Grower and Producer Mutual Support Program, Nucleus Approach Program . Also Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Uva Province plays dynamic role on Badulla district Enterprises Forum (DEF) initiated by the FCCISL to discuss business problems related to regional level entrepreneurs.
